http://cooldaddy.mydeardiary.com entry entitle "hannah and lilly"  is explicitly inappropriate!  With the popularity of Hannah Montana particularly with the younger audience, and the fact the diary is open to the public I hope something can be done to censor this diarist!  Ask him to go private or put a disclaimer of the explicit nature of his writings please~!

There is a diarist Thurza who is leaving really nasty mean comments on my diary for no apparent reason, other than I chose to vote for mccain and not obama. at first they just called me  racist on every entry they could get to and then on my last entry that I wrote that my baby has a cold they wrote "G-d gave you a sick baby to punish you"

I blocked them off my diary but being that they have no entries I am assuming they are just on here to make ppls lives miserable with their mean comments. could you please kick them off MDD?

Hi, I was wondering if you could help me contact the person who is in charge of this website. I was wondering if I could make a suggestion. i wanted to know if when someone has a private diary if there could be a request button that would let the owner of the private diary know that we want to be added to their favorites so we could read their diary. they would obviously have the choice to add us or not... but at least it would give us an opportunity to become part of a private diarist favorite list even after they have gone private...

If Wylie deletes it which I hope she does, then great. But I will be sending a copy of the comments to you directly. Wylie is only a child and should not have to be subjected to such vulgar behavior. I know you can only do what you can do. I don't normally care about reporting anything. But a kid doesn't need to be subjected to that.

I am not sure if this is the right place to put this comment but myself and one of my favorites have both complained about this. I am sure a lot of other ppl have the same problem. 1. I and my friend have both had this happen a few times, we type out a whole long entry and the whole thing dissapears. It doesnt get saved and there it goes... its soooo frustrating! 2. I press add to my diary option and it doesnt add and then suddenly it adds like 5 of the same entry even if I only press it once. There is obviously a technical error...

Also is there a way that you could add something to mdd that it automatically saves an entry in some sort of drafts every few second (like my yahoo e-mail does) as you type... so even if my comp freezes of wtv my entry wont be lost?

Comments like the one below from innocentcrybaby do not help matters. Her entry no8 is in violation of the TOU.

About your last comment that I didn't reply to: Oh he's aware of what he has to do in order to get his diary back. I "spoke" with him. I guess he just figures its a lost cause since he's started over again.

Also, some blogsites that act as journals or diaries DO indeed allow a setting where you can provide an age warning. MDD evidently DOES NOT have that setting.

And if a 13yr old says in their profile that they are 25 there is NOTHING the diarist of whoms diary is being read can do. I mean, we all know that. I was just curious to know as to whether that was an option. It would seem that most of the comments like the ones below could be avoided. Idk..just asking.

Say a diarist sets his/her diary to "semi-private" how is that diarist to know the age of the people of whom he/she adds to her favorites? What if the diarist unintentionally adds a 13yr old and that young viewer who asks to be added and the sexual content is in the diary? Wouldn't the site benefit from certain modifications that would allow a disclaimer prior to a reader opening up someone's diary? Idk--just a thought that was provoked after reading worriedgirl's diary.

The Story:

The diarist I am refering to has about 200 entries 4 of which did indeed contain sexual content. As far as harm to other diarist goes--don't think that was the intention. Nonetheless, there were 3 site moderators who had caught hold of his diary.

The diarist later found out that one of these moderators--if it's not you--was granted access to the usernames and passwords of EVERY diary on this site. One moderator in particular actually abused her power by logging not only into the his account on Mydeardiary but also into accounts OUTSIDE of MDD.

As you know, people use the same passwords or codes for multiple accounts. This particular diarist is no exception. Call it luck but the moderator gained access to an account that he had with LiveJournal. This is a serious issue as he opted to get media involved in order to provoke an investigation as some passcodes are used for bank accounts--had this moderator attempted to gain access in a bank account we all know that this is a federal offense and should not be taken lightly.

Nonetheless, all of this spawned from the blocking of his diary of which Arsenal seemed to be the one to give the diarist final warning--the next day--his diary was "forced" private and he is unable to change it back--a good friend of mine with merely 4 of 200 entries that contained some sex scenes as it went in his life. If you were to look this author up you'd see that in the last days of his diary--there was a whole lot of commotion at in the notes section of his diary. Moderators and diarist alike--some for, some against. Some friendly, some not so friendly. It was interesting to watch unfold.

Nonetheless, I wanted to inform him if there is indeed away that he can bring his diary back and make it semi-private.

OH and you're probably wondering how I know about the password abuse. Well one of the three moderators informed him about it via MySpace and she showed him EXACTLY what his password was. The moderator copied and pasted text in her message to him that would be the "conversation" between herself and the other moderator.

Just thought I'd see if it were possible to get his diary back. It was pretty good, aside from the few entries he had that caused so much trouble.
